Construction of supramolecular metallocages for selective catalysis

Prof. Yi-Tsu Chan received his B.S. (2000) and M.S. (2002) in chemistry from National TaiwanUniversity. He received his Ph.D. (2010) in polymer science from the University of Akron, working with Prof. George R. Newkome on terpyridine-based metallo-supramolecular assemblies. He thenjoined Prof. Takuzo Aidas research group as a JSPS research fellow at the University of Tokyo, working on oriented films of functional polymer brushes. In August of 2012, he joined NationalTaiwan University as an assistant professor in the chemistry department, and became an associate professor in 2017. His current research interests are focused on developing self-assembly methodology for construction of functional supramolecular architectures.
