Improved reactive melt infiltration for Cf/ZrB2-ZrC-SiC composite and its properties

Dr. De-Wei Ni is currently an associate professor of Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (SICCAS). He received his B.S. in 2006 from the College of Materials Science and Engineering, Sichuan University, and his Ph.D. in 2011 from Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. After that, he joined Technical University of Denmark starting as a postdoctoral researcher and developed as an independent researcher in 2013. At the beginning of 2016, he moved back to Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences as an associate professor under the support of CAS Pioneer Hundred Talents Program. He has published more than 50 papers and 1 book chapter on advanced ceramics. His current research interests are centered on development and understand the relationship among the fabrication, properties and hierarchical structures of ultra-high temperature ceramics matrix composites.
